Happy Radical Christmas!

The brave soles at Radical Sportscars took a Radical to 'Lap Land' recently for a Dunlop tyre test. Radicals preferred tyre supplier was keen to develop their new Radical snow tyre, while Radical's race team worked on a cold weather chassis set up.

Chief test coordinator and 'the one whose idea it was' Phil Abbott was very upbeat,"We had to tape up all the radiators and give the drivers a hot water bottle, but we made considerable progress. Dunlop's new tyres were absolutely amazing." Phil explained. "We found that if we poured petrol on them and set fire to them we could keep warm for half an hour."

Progress on reducing lap times in 'Lap Land' was also made. "We were struggling to be honest" Phil admitted, "but a local expert recommended we take the wheels off and attach a couple of reindeer which worked really well. He also wished everybody a Very Happy Christmas and a crunch-free New Year!"
